Comprehensive Dental Care

It’s December 1!

In case you haven’t looked at the calendar, today is December 1st.  What does that mean to you?

If you have dental insurance and you have benefits that expire at the end of the year, you might want to call our office.  We can still complete some dental treatments so you don’t leave your dental benefits laying on the table….that’s like losing money you could have put in your pocket.

DOn't leave money on the table.
Not using your annual dental insurance benefits is like leaving money on the table!

Have you been into the office and just gotten to busy to finish your treatment.  You can always call us and we can help you figure out where you left off and get you back on track.

I don’t know my insurance company, what do I do?

Unsure of your benefits and when they expire?  Most dental insurance companies have online access.  Just go to your insurers website and register.  Once on their site, you can access how much in benefits you have and what they will cover.  They will also tell whether you have dependent coverage or not.

Unsure of who your dental insurer is?  Ask a coworker or call HR.  Most companies provide one or two dental insurance providers; a coworker’s tip might save you the HR phone call.

Are you serious about using up some benefits?

insurance-informationDon’t waste any more time.  At our office, you can probably see a dentist within a day or two.  In many cases, your treatment must be completed by the end of the year.  So for a crown, you may need two weeks for the lab to return your new tooth.  Treatment times vary significantly so you will want to ask how long till treatment is finished. Even if you are down to the wire, most insurance companies will cover an exam, xrays and a cleaning in full as long as it is done before 2017.

If all is completely lost, plan better next year.

Sometimes things just don’t happen the way we want.  No sense in making yourself feel bad…just plan better next year!
