Did you know that dentures can be fixed and secured in your mouth so that you do not have to remove them every night before bed? We like to mention this fact because if you haven’t investigated dentures recently you may be missing out on the advances made in the past decade.
In a nutshell, having an implant supported denture fixed in your mouth usually takes between 5 and 6 dental implants. The denture is fashioned so that it is screwed in place to the dental implants. This makes for one very secure device called an implant supported denture. Of course the process is a bit more complex than mentioned here, but the result is a very happy denture wearer.
